Home
This is a website that I created primarily to keep track of my articles and perhaps use some of the little things I know to help someone else learn something.
I am a Internet Software Developer specializing in PHP, MySQL, (X)HTML, CSS and JAVASCRIPT development. I am also a Technical Writer contributing weekly columns on Open Source Development to various websites managed by WebMediaBrands.
As a Software Developer I have completed many projects of varying complexity – from simple HTML, brochure-type websites to complex e-commerce systems and even a facebook clone.
As a technical writer, I have completed many articles ranging from XHTML Principles to PHP and MySQL in-depth columns. I enjoy pushing the boundaries of what I know or have learned, and consider my role as a technical writer to be one of great self discovery: writing about technology forces one to explore the inner depths of your mind in order to find ways of explaining things in a way that everyone can easily understand.
As I have been promoted to a Project Manager a few months ago, my time schedule has shifted so much that writing articles is not always possible for me. Therefore I am just going to be adding my content here for the moment, and I hope it is good enough that someone might learn something from it too.
So please be patient and come back from time to time as my little site here starts to grow – The bane of every web developer is that he never has the time to maintain his own site – and that has never been more true for me than right now. However, I will still be adding as much content here as I can and hopefully some readership will evolve out of it.
So thank you if you happen to read this and consider coming back. I’ll try having some tutorials up shortly.
